 The benefit is that users won't be confused about whether or not they've
 made a change to the post. E.g., in OSX, if I edit a file, a black dot
 appears in the red "close" button in the top left of the window; I'm
 thinking along those lines, something that tells you the post has been
 changed in a way that can be saved.

 To @TimothyBlynJacobs point...I guess it could be confusing if you checked
 and then unchecked a category; would the button go back to being disabled?

 I still think it would be an improvement. I can't tell you how many times
 I've needlessly hit that button because I wasn't sure if I'd done anything
 (and observed users doing this).
