 As above, value_field was introduced in WordPress 4.2; however, it is not
 shown in the documentation for wp_dropdown_categories and
 wp_dropdown_pages yet. I'm not too sure about all the relevant arguments
 so I can't update it properly...

 P.S. I'm not sure how to flag it under 'needs codex work', but if anyone
 could help, I would be most grateful.
