 I read over ticket 24251 and see that there are security concerns with svg
 and that svg will not be added to core in the foreseeable future. It makes
 sense, but this ticket isn't about allowing svg in core.

 If  svg support can be added manually to the media uploader shouldn't the
 theme customizer then support svg as well, when svg has been added by the
 user to the list of acceptable mime types?

 I don't know the proper etiquette for asking questions on core.trac, I
 hope my question is okay.
