 Didn't the gallery styles get removed for gallery html5 support? Why would
 another situation suggest adding more internal uncacheable style sheets
 in?

 It's also not a standard piece of code - see the linked "This" in the
 opening report which shows how Twenty Fourteen is doing it different from
 core admin, which is then also different in H5BP and Bootstrap, even
 allowing for other choice of class names.

 FWIW, I also talked to johnbillion at WCEU, and he said he was happy with
 my proposal as is.
