 Tracking screen width and triggering custom JS to kick in when the screen
 is wide enough could be done in an understandable way (from the viewpoint
 of the end-user who may want to tamper with this in a child theme) using a
 solution like [http://wicky.nillia.ms/enquire.js/ enquire.js] or similar.
