 I commented on the Make Core blog post, but thought I'd mention this here
 too:

 Something that’s always stuck out in my mind is the fact that there are
 two separate actions for getting a new plugin running on your site:
 install & activate. In almost all cases, I would say that plugins are
 activated immediately after installing. To non-technical users, the
 differentiation probably doesn't even make all that much sense.

 Could we rename the 'install' button and turn it into a 1-click 'activate'
 button. This gives the impression that WordPress and the plugin repo are
 all one cohesive system, instead of the segmented systems that they really
 are. It would eliminate one extra step and make the whole platform feel
 even more stable.
