 I wonder if we should do something similar to what @markjaquith proposes
 at the very least for small screens where the post boxes always are
 stacked. As it is now, the user on a smart phone probably already is
 scrolling both the editor and the window to reach the publish box or any
 other the other metaboxes. In this case, it may also make sense to add a
 simplified publish box that just has the action buttons that sits above
 the editor and sticks like the other editor buttons.
