 Given that the inline width is there for legacy reasons, and that
 introducing yet-another-argument for theme support means maintaining it
 into the future (and isn't really any more dev-friendly than the existing
 filter), I think dropping it with the introduction of HTML5 support is a
 perfectly sane route. It's not any different from what was done with
 galleries.
