 The "labels" look great, but can only be images (an image that is a
 background for another transparent image). It's quite tricky (impossible?)
 to place a background over the border. May need to use `border-image`
 which is not supported in IE < 11. Will play with this more.

 That also makes them impossible to localize. We can localize the image
 tags titles (tooltips).
