 When using self closing tags like <hr> followed by a line of text
 separated by newline, wpautop returns invalid HTML.

 Consider the following example:

 <hr>
 test

 When inserting this into WordPress editor in text mode, the_content will
 return the following invalid HTML:

 <hr>
 test</p>
