Comment:

 I'm not feeling this. I understand for shared user tables, but the common
 use case these days is multisite instead. This would be super annoying and
 also huge usermeta bloat.

 On the other hand, if it is desired (such as to differentiate between
 sites), this is easy to do in a plugin.
