 Client has Bluehost shared hosting. Tries to add 91st menu item, WP 3.8.1
 adds to the active menu, but on Save Menu screen refreshes and the added
 menu item is no longer there. Happens with all plugins disabled and Twenty
 Eleven Theme active.

 Edited php.ini to max_input_vars = 5000. Problem is still there. Unable to
 request server RESET since it is shared hosting.

 Any other suggestions other than the ("CMS Tree Page View" and "Add
 Descendants as Submenu Items") plugin work-around?

 seemed to work. We modified the php.ini in the root public_html folder. We
 tried adding it to the WP theme folder itself. We tried adding to
 .htaccess. We could even see the changes reflected in phpinfo.php in all
 folders.
