 I did add
 {{{
 define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );
 }}}

 to the wp-config.php file.

 But instead of modifying the customize-controls.js file, I copied the
 customize-controls.js file from the computer that is now working to this
 computer.

 I installed the array-prototype-indexof-polyfill.php file as a plugin
 also.
