 johnbillion, thanks for the link. But I am afraid that's not the right
 one.

 This issue occurs regardless if jetpack is used or not, from what I can
 see.

 This pertains to the "gallery" function that is built into wordpess itself
 as a '''''feature'''''. It is not a plugin.
