 In what possible way? SVG is a standard that has been around since 1999
 only has become more popular since its creation. In what way can SVG or
 XML documents cause trouble? Furthermore, there has been a very big push
 in recent years to switch to vector graphics (like CSS3 and SVG) from
 raster graphics (like JPG, GIF, and PNG).

 That being said, I think that SVGs should be supported, given that a
 raster alternative is available for older browsers. (a solution that is
 already commonly implemented)
