Comment:

 Sorry to ignore @nacin's encouragement to create a new ticket for new
 issues. While working on the plugin to the ability to edit margins and
 borders, I got annoyed with having to constantly toggle the advanced
 section, so I put together a [attachment:27366-14.patch patch] to store
 the state in a user setting. I realize it is super late, but I think
 getting this into 3.9 makes sense.
