 Funny, I'm completely in support of a JSON-formatted feed, but against
 rss.js for the same reasons as @rmccue.

 That's where I was going with my input (and why it may have been seen as
 sideways to the point) -- unless the feed is consumable *in a way that's
 better than RSS* then WP is only spreading a mediocre format that doesn't
 solve many problems.

 @nacin, could you weigh-in on why rss.js? (please excuse if this is too
 direct) It's unusual for a ticket to see this many of the core team +
 several negative responses, but not see your opinion. I'm not looking to
 challenge that, just see the logic behind choosing rss.js.
