 This is complicated. :) There's not going to be an easy, or right, answer.
 We need to decide based on both pragmatic (simpler CSS rules) versus
 philosophical (universal selectors for something like this means we think
 *everyone* should use this box model).

 I'm leaning towards keeping the universal selector, and taking the chance
 to educate plugin authors on how to use modern CSS box model(s) --
 starting a dialogue to help us all learn better CSS practices. Yes, it
 could break some things visually, but users won't lose any content, so the
 severity is minimal.
