 Julian,
 I have at least 40 small page specific menus, with no real problems. The
 only aggravating factor now is that all the menus flash along the
 horizontal menu list line when the menu builder initially loads, slowing
 that process significantly, and scrolling right and left to find the one I
 need to work on can be a real pain sometimes. It seems that whoever
 develops these things needs to think less about the flashy stuff and focus
 more on usability and friendly UI for sites of all sizes, including very
 large ones like ours, not just the minimal sites that may be used for
 development and testing. In this case, opening a separate "Open Menu"
 dialog page for selecting from a large list of menus would be easier than
 loading the left/right scrolling list.

 The many issues and bugs I see when selecting individual pages/posts from
 the hundreds of available pages and posts, especially the unreliable
 search process, is a whole other topic.
