 Same problem here.

 Wordpress 3.4.2 with Multisite with 3 blogs installed. Using subdomains.
 On 2 blogs, the customize button works fine. On the third blog, I see the
 left panel but right panel is blank. Possible issue is that the third blog
 has a domain mapped to it.
