 I would debate that it is ''"well-established"'', at least the point of
 clarity and understanding. I've been working with WordPress professionally
 for 3+ years and I ''still'' get confused by this terminology.  God help
 someone who doesn't live-and-breath WordPress to be able to understand it
 as it is currently applied.

 Jane's suggestion makes a lot of sense IMO as those who pay enough
 attention to already understand it will certainly read the articles
 explaining how things have changed.
