 I think that in the event of a major WP admin refresh, or a major jQuery-
 UI update, retracing (redoing) the steps above might be better then
 forking the current state of the theme and back-applying compatibility for
 the (possibly cryptic or even drastic) wp-admin or jquery-ui changes.

 It comes down to whether its easier redoing the two github commits or
 search/replacing whatever changes occur in wp-admin or jquery-ui (which
 really depends on how significant those changes are). With major changes
 the former is better; minor changes, the latter is better.
