 I think Twenty Ten should be updated for new core features (and has been,
 as recently as 3.4), and that enhancements — provided they do not come
 with compatibility concerns, including styling changes — should be
 considered.

 We should borrow the improved language used in Twenty Eleven and add them
 here.
