 I'd just like to add my support for fixing this, as I accidentally stored
 a WP_Error object in the database, and then spent SEVERAL HOURS in a BLIND
 MURDEROUS RAGE trying to figure out why I was getting 500 Internal Server
 Errors left and right, despite having removed all traces of the offending
 code.

 It's not a very common issue, but when it strikes, it strikes hard.
