 I have sent all the details, many thanks for looking at this.

 There is a test database in a sub folder where the twenty eleven theme
 upgrade failed, maybe load version 1.1 and then upgrade from the WordPress
 upgrade screen to 1.2 is one scenario that would be easy to replicate.

 The Google Sitemap plugin on the main site updated just fine this morning.
