 I can't get custom post type posts show up in categories:

 1. make a custom post type typeA
 2. make a post of typeA
 3. make a regular post
 4. make a category catA
 5. assign both posts in catA
 6. the widget displays catA(1) and if clicked, only the regular post is
 shown.
