 This sentence is confusing me because of the extra verb. Can you restate
 the issue for this part?

 continue to show. Where WP is getting these images I can not figure out.
 Theme thumbnails are just included with the theme. Updating a header or
 background does not change the theme thumbnail in the administration
 screens. Since you marked this with a Network Admin component, I assume
 you meant showing in the admin screens. If what you actually meant was
 that the images/backgrounds are not updating in the theme on the live
 site, please change the component to reflect this.
