 there are two different types of postings in wordpress. one is page (for
 static stuff like contact form) the other is post. that is why i asked.

 using chrome 10 and Firefox on windows and ubuntu i can paste via right
 click menu (both with wordpress 3.1.1

 Can you clear the cache of your internet explorer and retest it?
