 The same “Add New” string is used for Sites, Users and the Admin Bar on
 Network Administration screens. It should have a different context in each
 case, like for Posts, Plugins and Users on regular admin screens.

 Also, since this menu is the first place where “Add New” is used as the
 main term, post type labels should have accusative case name in addition
 to {{{singular_name}}} for proper translation. This may be a question for
 another ticket, though.
