 I like the suggestion of splitting it into its own column - it could then
 be sorted, or the column could be easily hidden for those who aren't using
 post formats.

 My only other suggestion (and its a completely selfish one) would be for
 an extra class to be added to each <tr> indicating the post format (as is
 already done for the post status which I'm using to do this
 [http://d.pr/NAKJ] ), then I could potentially add my own icons...
