Comment:

 I ran into this issue also on a site I'm developing using 3.0 and the new
 nav menu functionality. After searching the wp-testers list, I found an
 email from Andrew Nacin that talked about this same issue and mentioned an
 open Trac ticket for it.

 Would like to see this resolved; unfortunately I'm not able to provide a
 patch to fix it. :(
