 We're not doing thickbox, and we're probably eliminating them for media
 next time we tear up media/upload.

 We're ajax paging the nav menu meta boxes.

 That's not the purpose of multisite. Maybe a valid use case for some, but
 hardly a valid suggestion for all.

 I have no idea what this has to do with this ticket, but scribu has a
 Merge Tags plugin. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/merge-tags/
