 I'm confused by your setup there. I understand the practice of add-on vs.
 root domains, but I don't see how that has an effect here.

 We're blocking a single-site install that has existed for some time from
 being converted to a subdirectory network, as the root blog will be forced
 to use the /blog/ prefix.
