Comment:

 I think this bug has snug into core somehow again. In the examples below,
 I'm using a category called example with ID 23.

 http://yoursite.com/?cat=example&feed=rss2&withcomments=1
 redirects to:
 http://yoursite.com/comments/feed/?cat=example&withcomments=1
 and shows all comments on the site.

 http://yoursite.com/?cat=23&feed=rss2&withcomments=1
 redirects to:
 http://yoursite.com/permalink-for-
 category/example/comments/feed/?withcomments=1
 and gives me a 404 message
