 I take that back, it's not adding the user to the subsite they registered
 on, just on the main site.

 Although that fixed the 404, it's not adding the user to the site they
 registered with.  If i'm hosting on my multisite other sites that I want
 to be distinct, it has to add the user to the site they registered on.
