 Just noticed another tiny issue:

 The {{{$page_title}}} variable of the {{{add_submenu_page()}}} call is not
 respected for custom post type parents. The {{{<title>}}} tag just has the
 default WP title.

 I guess there is some more logic needed in {{{get_admin_page_title()}}}.
