Comment:

 It's not a bug, it's a usability issue. It behaves the way it was
 originally developed to behave. This ticket is invalid as a bug report,
 because what you are reporting is the intended behavior. Lobbying to
 change the intended behavior is not what a bug ticket is for. If you want
 to lobby for the behavioral change, please open a thread at
 http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas. Do not reopen this trac ticket, please.
