 I just looked at the updated menus and it looks like some things are going
 in a different direction than I thought they were going (ex. popup for
 editing instead of slidedown postbox like we use everywhere else). I want
 to focus on getting the UI back on track for consistency. I'll try to
 catch people in #wordpress-dev today so we can get things settled, since
 leaving feedback on this ticket is starting to feel like a hodgepodge of
 people's Christmas lists (to paraphrase something Denis once said to me).
