Type: defect (bug) | Status: new
 Priority: high | Milestone: Unassigned
Component: Administration | Version: 3.0
Severity: normal | Keywords: cookies, wordpress 3

I have two blogs set up on my site with different domain names...
Lets call them: example.com and example.org

Example.com is the default, and example.org is a secondary.

Logging into example.com works, however when logging into example.org, the
cookie is set to example.com, and therefore causes the login to fail
making it impossible to access wp-admin.

I think, that before this WP3 goes live, cookies should be set to a
current domain basis, rather than to the default domain.

Does anybody have ideas as to what would fix this.

Note, I assigned this to a high priority, as it can cause users to be
unable to administer their blogs, completely blocking access to the site.
