Comment:

 Nope - more likely to do with the redirects in htaccess and the needless
 change from /blog.dir/x/uploads/ in 2.9.2 to /blog.dir/x/files/ in 3.0

 nacin - try catching up on the forums please - there are hundreds of
 threads about this exact same topic.
