 This one uses a default favicon in the wp-content directory.  It also sets
 cache headers for 3hrs which should be adequate for an average session and
 avoid multiple requests.  While this gets rid of DB connections and most
 overhead it's still php processing, anything that can be cut can be
 helpful.
