 '''@prettyboymp — Another issue with persistence is that it only relates
 to plugins that allow the user to dynamically create their own
 post_types.'''

 True...

 '''@prettyboymp — Plugins that add static post_types won't need it.'''

 And true but plugins that allow the user to dynamically create their own
 post_types will need to annotate information about those static post types
 that have been added by other plugins.

 '''@prettyboymp — This also means that all these plugins that allowed
 dynamic creation of post_types would be tied to a specific storage
 structure, not something I would want.'''

 I don't understand the specifics of your concern nor why a specific
 storage structure is a bad thing necessarily. Posts have a specific
 storage structure, is that bad?   I just don't see what the issue is;
 educate me please.
