 Another issue with persistence is that it only relates to plugins that
 allow the user to dynamically create their own post_types.  Plugins that
 add static post_types won't need it.  This also means that all these
 plugins that allowed dynamic creation of post_types would be tied to a
 specific storage structure, not something I would want.
