 Not wanting to step too deep into this I will say that courts view knowing
 violations as much worse than inadvertent violations. The fact that
 WordPress has been made aware of it means that, if no corrective action is
 taken and a court were to find a violation the damages would likely be
 treble, I think (although, of course, IANAL.)
