 I had installed the German Wordpress edition, but then have the language
 changed to original (define ('WPLANG', 'en-US')); in the wp-config.php
 file. However, one "crumb" remained which is the "Browse" button that
 occurs e.g. in the Media upload dialog box. It remained German
 "Durchsuchen" but also occurs whereever this function is called (e.g.
 plugins).
