#12884: Taxonomy Pages aren't properly redirected when using Multi Site
Subdirectories

Type: defect (bug) | Status: new
 Priority: normal | Milestone: 3.0
Component: Multisite | Version: 3.0
 Severity: normal | Keywords:
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
When switching to multi-site and using subdirectories, blog/ is prepended
to the permalinks. This breaks links to mysite.com/category/*anything*
and mysite.com/tag/*anything* (and I'm also assuming custom taxonomies,
 but I haven't checked that.

This is related to [12002] and could be fixed by fixing that, but some
solution should be made for 3.0, even if that solution is better
documentation on the network.php screen so users aren't surprised
