Comment:

 Are you using quick edit with multiple posts, or bulk edit?

 If you click "Quick Edit," you'll only be editing that post. If you click
 the checkbox for multiple posts, then go to Bulk Actions > Edit and click
 Apply, you'll be editing both posts.

 It worked for me, so I wanted to confirm.
