 Just a note:  I am aware of the similar patch at
 http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4048 , but the protests against that one
 seem to mainly have been the potential to "hack" other plugin by changing
 their headers.  So again, this patch is explicitly designed to only allow
 you to add a new header to be returned, not to alter existing ones in any
 way.
