 It's not possible to update an image using a PUT to the edit-media link.

 Note that wordpress returns 200 indicating success, even though it fails.

 What actually happens is that it retrieves the path to the file relative
 to the uploads folder but then it doesn't prepend the path to the uploads
 folder before trying to open the file for writing.
