 Hello,

 this is a feature request based on this forum post:
 http://wordpress.org/support/topic/217939

 To sum it up again: If you post blog entries by mail from eg. flickr, you
 may want to have them in a separate category. Because most people would
 have a dedicated account for remote posting, the easiest way is setting a
 default category for a user.

 This feature should be integrated into wp-admin/user-edit.php
